As a TA for Security, I helped grade and instruct an upper-division computer science course. I also lectured on social engineering, helped students undertand concepts, and provided programming help during lab time and office hours.
Over the time that I worked in the Global Security and Network Operations Center at StubHub, I was able to learn and grow in the security space. I learned about the operations side of security, from the perspective of both security and networks operations engineers. Additionally, I was given the chance to lead some proactive security projects that are now in production that help identify and eliminate network attackers. In addition, I helped manage releases and network traffic over our servers. Also, I worked on improving the scripts that were being used on the team, and taught some members of the team how to optimize python and share their code via git. Finally, I also had the opportunity to work on a 24/7 global team, and learned how to interact with people on different shifts and in different parts of the world, as well as in person in the San Francisco HQ.
At Modus, I was given a chance to work on an IoT remote rover. I also developed code to assist in the flying of drones and their mapping capabilities. Also, I was trained in flying drones for mapping and computer vision purposes.
